CONCORDANCE, a reference book defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as “an alphabetical arrangement of the principal words contained in a book, with citations of the passages in which they occur.” There are concordances for a number of great writers, such as Shakespeare, Milton, Spenser, Tennyson, Dante, etc.; but more concordances have been produced relating to the Bible .   I currently use my book version of Youngs analytical concordance. I like the fact that it has every single word in the KJV, and that it gives the verses grouped by original greek or hebrew word with a definition at the top.

Excellent Reference for Studying the King James Bible. YOUNG’S ANALYTICAL CONCORDANCE TO THE BIBLE This is a huge reference book that has Greek and Hebrew origins of words that are found in the entire King James Version of the Bible/5(10). The Strong's Exhaustive Concordance is the most complete, easy-to-use, and understandable concordance for studying the original languages of the Bible. Combining the text of the King James Version and New American Standard Bibles with the power of the Greek and Hebrew Lexicons, any student or pastor can gain a clear understanding of the Word to.
